Estate Mandore

Corporate mega-plantations span thousands of hectares and employ hundreds of workers. The Estate Manager cannot be everywhere at once, so they rely entirely on the Mandore to execute the daily operational plan. The Mandore rides a motorcycle through the estate rows at dawn, deploying workers to specific blocks for harvesting, fertilizing, or weed spraying.

Their primary job is quality control and discipline. They must ensure that harvesters are not leaving ripe bunches on the trees, that loose fruit is fully collected, and the fronds are pruned correctly. They carry a notebook (or rugged tablet) to record the daily output of each worker, as this data dictates the piece-rate payroll.

A successful Mandore commands respect. They often manage foreign migrant workers, requiring strong multicultural communication and conflict resolution skills. It is an outdoor, rugged leadership role that bridges the gap between raw manual labor and corporate estate management.
