Social Worker
Pekerja Sosial (Pakar Kebajikan & Perlindungan Komuniti)
"This profoundly noble, fiercely empathetic sector focuses on the defense and rehabilitation of the most vulnerable humans in society. It involves rescuing abused children, supporting terminal patients in hospitals, and navigating complex government welfare systems to secure resources for the impoverished."
The Career Story
Social Workers (Pegawai Pembangunan Masyarakat / Medical Social Workers) are the tactical frontline defenders of human rights and dignity. To strictly differentiate: The Counsellor sits in a comfortable room talking to a stressed teenager. The Police Officer arrests the abusive father. The Social Worker drives into the slum at 2 AM, physically removes the abused child from the house, places them in a safe shelter, and fights the government bureaucracy to ensure the child gets fed and educated.
