Scrum Master

The tech world moves too fast for traditional slow project management. Most software is now built using the Agile Scrum framework a system of rapid two week sprints. The Scrum Master is the enforcer of this system. In major Malaysian banks and tech giants they are hired to take chaotic stressed out engineering teams and turn them into highly disciplined hyper productive military units.

Their daily life is a constant series of high energy meetings and conflict resolution. They start every morning running the Daily Standup forcing developers to report exactly what they did yesterday what they will do today and what is blocking them. If a developer says they cannot work because another department will not grant server access the Scrum Master immediately hunts down that department and smashes the roadblock. They protect the engineers from demanding CEOs who want to change the plan halfway through the week.

This career is pure human psychology and extreme process discipline. You do not need to write code but you must command the respect of brilliant arrogant software engineers. AI can track project tickets on Jira but AI cannot sense that a lead developer is burning out mediate a bitter argument between two senior architects or aggressively defend the team from toxic corporate politics.
