The life of a Safety & Health Assistant is governed by hazard logs and safety audits. Unlike managers who focus purely on profit, the safety assistant controls the well being of the workforce. They spend their days monitoring worksite conditions, checking harness equipment, and identifying potential hazards in "Permit to Work" systems. It is a strict, observant, and highly principled way of operating that values human life above all production targets.

They analyze near-miss data to prevent future accidents and manage the intense paperwork required by DOSH. When an accident does occur, they act as forensic investigators, determining the root cause. This career demands authoritative communication, a deep understanding of engineering hazards, and absolute moral integrity to shut down unsafe operations, even if it costs the company money.
