A Nursing Aide (Pembantu Jururawat) plays an indispensable role in both government and private healthcare settings. While Registered Nurses (RNs) handle complex clinical tasks like administering IV medications and charting medical histories, Nursing Aides focus on direct, physical patient comfort. They are the ones at the bedside, turning patients to prevent bedsores, assisting them to the bathroom, changing wound dressings under supervision, and feeding those who cannot feed themselves.

This role is emotionally demanding but deeply rewarding. With the rapid expansion of private hospitals and premium aged-care facilities in Malaysia, the demand for well-trained nursing assistants is skyrocketing.
