Judicial Commissioner
Pesuruhjaya Kehakiman (Hakim Percubaan Mahkamah Tinggi)
"This highly prestigious, high stakes legal sector is the mandatory probationary phase before ascending to the absolute apex of the judiciary. It involves sitting on the High Court bench, running massive trials, and proving your judicial wisdom to secure permanent tenure as a full Judge."
The Career Story
Judicial Commissioners are the judges in training. To strictly differentiate: The Litigation Lawyer argues the case. The High Court Judge holds permanent, protected tenure and cannot be easily fired. The Judicial Commissioner holds the exact same power in the courtroom as a High Court Judge, they wear the same robes, hear the same murder trials, and write the same judgments, but they are on a 2 year contract. If they perform poorly, they are quietly dismissed and do not become a full Judge.
