As cities like Kuala Lumpur push to become "Green Cities," Horticulturists work alongside Architects to select specific, resilient plant species that can survive on the sides of skyscrapers or in massive indoor vertical gardens, naturally reducing the city's heat island effect.

This career requires a profound "green thumb" backed by hardcore chemistry and biology. AI can automate the watering schedule of a greenhouse, but it cannot physically graft a delicate fruit sapling, nor can it intuitively design a visually stunning, biologically diverse botanical garden. It is a peaceful, beautiful, yet highly scientific profession.
