Bartending is equal parts chemistry, showmanship, and psychology. They must monitor alcohol consumption constantly, refusing service to heavily intoxicated patrons and de-escalating potential fights before they explode.

This role involves brutal hours, often finishing work at 3:00 AM. It requires stamina, a strong liver, and excellent cash-handling skills. But for those who thrive in the night, it is an incredibly lucrative and globally respected craft. A highly skilled Mixologist who designs award-winning cocktails can achieve minor celebrity status within the food and beverage industry and command massive salaries in high-end speakeasies.
