Automotive Mechanic Assistant

Every major automotive workshop relies heavily on the hustle of the Mechanic Assistant. This role is a raw, hands-on apprenticeship. The daily life of an assistant is highly physical, oily, and loud. An assistant is responsible for the speed of the workshop. They work in highly ventilated but hot garage environments, handling toxic chemicals, pneumatic tools, and heavy steel parts.
