Army Paratrooper

Askar Payung Terjun (10 RAMD)

"This elite infantry sector focuses on rapid global deployment via air. It involves specialized training in airborne infiltration, high-intensity combat, and the ability to operate deep in enemy territory immediately after landing."

The Career Story

Army Paratroopers are the "Sky Soldiers" of the Malaysian Army. Members of the elite 10 Paratrooper Brigade (10 PARA), they are trained to jump from planes at 1,000 feet into hostile zones, serving as the rapid-reaction force for national defense.

When the country needs a massive combat force on the ground within hours, they don't drive; they fly. The Army Paratrooper is a member of the legendary 10 PARA Brigade, based in Camp Terendak, Melaka. They are recognizable by their prestigious maroon beret. Unlike standard infantry, paratroopers must be prepared to fight while surrounded by enemies, as they are often dropped behind the frontlines.

The life of a Paratrooper is defined by the "Jump." Their training is physically agonizing. They must run miles carrying heavy gear and practice "PLFs" (Parachute Landing Falls) hundreds of times until their landings are perfect. Stepping out of a C-130 Hercules aircraft into the screaming wind at night requires a level of psychological courage that few humans possess.

Once on the ground, their job is high-intensity combat. They are trained in "Airborne Assault"capturing airfields and bridges before the enemy can react. They must be experts in every weapon system, from machine guns to anti-tank missiles. The motto of 10 PARA is "Tindak Pantas" (Act Fast), and they are the first unit called when Malaysia faces a sudden territorial threat.

AI cannot jump from a plane, navigate a parachute into a tiny forest clearing, and lead an assault on an enemy bunker. This is a career of pure, high-adrenaline human grit and elite military status.
