Politeknik Melaka

Melaka Polytechnic (PMK) was formerly known as Kota Polytechnic, Melaka (PKM). But not many people know that before Kota Polytechnic, Melaka, it was known as Merlimau Melaka Polytechnic. This is due to the earliest planning to establish a Polytechnic in Melaka is only one. However, during the process of waiting for the campus in Merlimau to be completed, during that period also the temporary placement of the Polytechnic in the Plaza Pandan Malim Building, Balai Panjang Melaka was made another Polytechnic called Politeknik Kota, Melaka due to its strategic position close to the city center and coincides with the concept of "City Campus" which happens to be within the Kota Melaka constituency.
