My name is Muhd Qayyum bin Mat Saidi, and I am proud to call Negeri Sembilan my home. Currently, I am pursuing my education at Sekolah Menengah Sains Rembau (SEMESRA), an institution that fosters a strong foundation in science, rigorous academic discipline, and a deep-seated desire to serve the community. Immersed in this challenging environment, my interest in biology and human physiology quickly grew into a profound fascination with internal medicine, specifically the intricate and vital functions of the renal system. This academic curiosity has solidified my ambition to become a specialized nephrologist, dedicated to diagnosing and treating complex kidney diseases.

Looking ahead, my ultimate career goal is to alleviate the burdens of patients suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injuries, and end-stage renal disease. I envision myself working in a leading clinical setting or a specialized renal care center, where I can provide compassionate, cutting-edge care while actively contributing to research in dialysis innovation and kidney transplantation. Driven by the resilience, empathy, and strong work ethic cultivated at SMS Rembau, I am determined to navigate the long medical journey ahead to become a trusted medical professional who significantly improves the quality of life for renal patients both locally and globally.
