About Semporna Community College
Semporna Branch Community College is the first branch community college in Sabah and its parent college is Tawau Community College. It began its operation on 01 June 2009 by staying temporarily at Kolej Komuniti Tawau. On 16 July 2009 Semporna Branch Community College moved to its permanent campus at Lot 2-6, Bandar Baru Semporna 2, Jalan Hospital, 91308, Semporna, Sabah. From 16 September 2009 KKCSS is placed under the Administration of the Department of Community College Studies, Ministry of Higher Education. Semporna Branch Community College is located in the Parliamentary area of P.189 Semporna and is within Semporna Town, Sabah. The distance from Tawau Airport is 84 km and 110 km from Tawau city. Semporna Branch Community College offers a National Modular Certificate Program (SMK) in the field of Tourism as well as a Lifelong Learning Program (Short Course) to Malaysian citizens, especially to the community in the Semporna district.
