About Segamat 2 Community College
Segamat Community College 2 has been operating since March 1, 2003. Segamat Community College 2 is a government educational institution under the Community College Management Division, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. At the beginning of the establishment of this college, this college operated at SMK Seri Jementah while waiting for the building to be fully completed. The first intake of students by Segamat Community College 2 was made on 17 June 2003 involving two courses namely the Certificate in Architectural Drafting and the Creative Multimedia Certificate (Animation). The intake of students in the July 2004 session offered an Architectural Draftsman's Certificate and an Information Technology Certificate. In addition to full-time courses, Segamat Community College 2 also offers a variety of short course programs that are open to all levels of the local community with the aim of improving the skills and quality of work of the participants involved.
