My passion for innovation was truly ignited when I designed and built an automated LED Safety Bag for my RBT project. Using a Micro:bit / Arduino microcontroller as the brain of the project, I coded and wired LED strips integrated with an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor. This allowed the bag to automatically light up in the dark, ensuring maximum visibility. While it began as an engineering assignment, it taught me a valuable lesson in sports safety. As an aspiring Physical Education educator, I aim to bridge the gap between STEM and sports science. I want to utilize this technical experience to introduce wearable technology into school sports—ensuring student-athletes who train late or commute early stay safe. This project proved to me that a modern P.E. teacher must be resourceful, tech-savvy, and deeply committed to student welfare
