Muhammad Danish Arwisy Bin Muhamad Roduan
I am a student with a strong interest in mathematics and biology. I particularly enjoy calculus because I find the logical thinking and problem-solving behind it interesting. I am also fascinated by how the human body functions and how science can be used to improve people’s lives. This has led me to explore both orthopaedic surgery and biomedical engineering as possible career paths. Although I am still deciding which direction to pursue, I hope to eventually work in a field where I can combine my interests in science, problem-solving and helping others.
Outside of academics, I enjoy taking on leadership opportunities and putting myself in situations where I can learn and grow. I currently serve as the Deputy Head of Student Co-curricular Affairs, Vice-Captain of my school basketball team and Secretary of the Hiking Club. I have also been involved in volunteering programmes, leadership camps, public speaking and event management. These experiences have helped me become more confident in communicating with others and, more importantly, taught me to take responsibility and step up when people depend on me. Basketball in particular has played a major role in my personal growth, teaching me discipline, emotional maturity and the importance of being responsible for more than just myself.
I am still working on becoming more consistent, managing my time better and improving academically, but I see these as areas where I can continue to grow. My goal is not to be excellent at only one thing, but to become a well-rounded individual who is willing to learn, adapt and contribute wherever I am needed. I hope to carry this mindset into my future studies and career, while continuing to challenge myself and make a meaningful contribution to the people and community around me.
